About
Borderless AI handles international hiring, payroll and compliance for companies that employ people outside their home country. Willson Cross described the mechanics on the TechTO stage at TiEQuest in June 2026: customers run payroll from a Canadian bank account, Borderless disburses to more than 170 countries over payments infrastructure it built, and produces the tax forms and payroll slips each country requires. He said the company had raised more than $35 million and that revenue was growing every month, while noting most of the room had never heard of it. The company came out of stealth in March 2024 with a $27 million USD seed round led by Susquehanna and Aglaé Ventures, and is built on and partnered with Cohere's models.
