About
Durable carbon dioxide removal is a market where announcements outrun deliveries, and CDR.fyi exists to keep the two apart in public. It publishes analytics on purchases, projects and financings for suppliers, buyers, investors, NGOs, policymakers and journalists, positioning itself as "trusted insights & analytics on durable CDR orders, projects, and financings." Robert Höglund and Kevin Niparko started it as an open-source project in 2022, with Chris Nixon an early contributor. Alex Rink joined in 2023 and became chief executive in January 2024, the same month the company incorporated as a Delaware public benefit corporation. Rink is an Ottawa serial entrepreneur — Waterloo engineering, an INSEAD MBA, Bain, then founding and leading Infotriever and 360pi — and runs the advisory and angel practice Rink Ventures. The team is deliberately distributed, with people in Germany, Canada, Taiwan, India, Thailand, England, Mexico, France and Nigeria. Rink appeared on TechTO's Founder Journey podcast in July 2023 as the founder of Rink Ventures.
Backers
