About
FCB/SIX describes itself as a creative CRM agency that thrives on data, working on one-to-one and digital performance work for brands. It is the Toronto data and CRM arm of the FCB network, part of Interpublic Group, and took its current name in 2016 when the agency then called Rivet rebranded under the FCB banner and added a Montreal office. Andrea Cook co-founded it and was its president when she spoke at TechTO MarketingTO in February 2019; she has since left Interpublic and is North American chief executive of JAM CRM. Her TechTO argument was that advertising's problem is not data or technology but pace — an industry that moved slowly for decades is now being asked to move fast, and is not trained for it.

Quick answers
What does FCB/SIX do?
It is a creative CRM agency: one-to-one and digital performance marketing built on customer data, plus data and technology consulting, out of Toronto.
Is FCB/SIX independent?
No. It is part of the FCB network, which is owned by Interpublic Group. It took the FCB/SIX name in 2016, when the agency formerly called Rivet rebranded.
What did FCB/SIX say on the TechTO stage?
In February 2019 Andrea Cook argued that advertising is not being killed by data or technology but by its own timidity — an industry used to moving slowly is now being asked to move fast, and 'where there is pressure there are diamonds'.
