About
Dan Siroker founded the company in 2022 as Rewind AI, selling a Mac app that recorded everything on screen so a person could search their own past. In April 2024 it pivoted to hardware and the Limitless name: a $99 clip-on Pendant that captures conversations and meetings, paired with a $20-a-month Pro subscription for transcription and recall. The company had raised more than $33 million from a16z, First Round Capital and NEA before the rebrand. Meta acquired Limitless in December 2025, saying the team would work on wearables; the original Rewind Mac app was wound down at the same time.
