About
Founded in 2010 by Tony Chahine, Myant builds garments with sensors knitted directly into the fabric, a field it calls textile computing. Its Skiin platform, launched in 2019, offers biosensing underwear and garments that continuously track heart rate, ECG and activity, and has received Health Canada clearance as a Class II medical device. The company operates a large textile-computing facility in the Toronto area and has partnered with organizations including Canadian Tire.
