About
Peoples Group organises itself around four customer groups, each with its own section of the site. Personal Banking covers transaction and savings accounts, an e-Savings account, tax-free savings, registered and non-registered GICs, and residential mortgages, with Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation coverage documented alongside the deposit products. Business Banking offers business accounts. Commercial Lending covers CMHC-insured mortgage lending and conventional commercial mortgages, with its own stated lending process.
The fourth is the one that puts the firm in fintech conversations. Under Fintech Solutions it sells payment infrastructure — money movement, card issuing, merchant acquiring and trust account services — which is how Canadian fintechs that are not themselves banks reach the payment system. The company publishes annual reports, financial results and regulatory disclosures, and operates in English and French.
Its offices are in downtown Vancouver at 888 Dunsmuir Street, with a mailing address in Suite 1400 and an appointments desk in Suite 100.

What does Peoples Group do?
It is a Canadian financial services company with four lines: personal deposits and mortgages, business banking, commercial real-estate lending, and payment infrastructure sold to fintechs — money movement, card issuing, merchant acquiring and trust account services.
Where is Peoples Group based?
Vancouver. Its offices are at 888 Dunsmuir Street, with the mailing address in Suite 1400 and appointments taken in Suite 100.
Why does it come up in Canadian fintech?
Because a fintech that is not itself a bank still needs regulated rails. Peoples Group's Fintech Solutions arm sells exactly that — card issuing, money movement, merchant acquiring and trust accounts.
