About

Strainprint, founded in Toronto in 2016 by Stephanie Karasick, set out to fill the evidence gap in medical cannabis. Patients track sessions in a mobile journaling app, and the anonymized data feeds analytics that help clinicians, formulators and licensed producers understand how products affect people. President and CTO David Berg described the immature, cyclical cannabis market on the TechTO stage in early 2020. The company remains active in 2026, running the app, analytics products and a North American ambassador program.
