About

TELUS provides mobile, internet and TV service across Canada and has built out adjacent businesses in health, agriculture and digital customer experience. It ended 2025 with 21.2 million total customer connections after adding 1,081,000 mobility and fixed customers during the year — its fourth consecutive year above one million — and generated a record C$2.2B of free cash flow, up 11%. In April 2015 TELUS sponsored a TechToronto meetup and used the slot to introduce a group most of the room did not know existed: a 40-person Internet of Things team that had just launched iot.telus.com, which Stephen Eyre described as the first public-facing IoT solutions marketplace in Canada. His pitch to the founders present was blunt — you build the hardware and software, we already have the sales force, data centres, networks and billing relationships.
