the third one is to focus on the road ahead and not the wall. When they train racecar drivers, one of the lessons they teach them going around the corner at 250 kilometres an hour is to focus on the road and not the wall. If you focus on the wall you'll go right into it.
mediocre CEOs will say the reason for their success is because of a certain business strategy or a certain business sense, but the really great CEOs will say the reason they've succeeded is because they've just never stopped.

Co-founder and CEO of Uken Games, a Toronto mobile games studio he started in 2009 with Mark Lampert. Uken has stayed independent and bootstrapped, and its titles include Jeopardy! World Tour and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
What did Chris Ye talk about at TechTO?
The two games Uken killed. In 2014 the studio was sixth on the Deloitte Fast 50; it then spent 18 months and $3M on two new titles with 25 people — half the company — before shutting them down. He told the February 2016 audience how he questioned his own ability to lead through it.
How did Uken Games start?
Ye met his co-founder at a Facebook camp and built a gifting app together. Adding a leaderboard doubled its popularity in a week, which taught them the power of game mechanics and pushed them into games.
