Hongwei Liu is the co-founder and CEO of Mappedin, the Waterloo-based indoor-mapping company he started as a University of Waterloo engineering student before dropping out. Since 2011 he has grown a campus-navigation side project into a global platform that digitizes venues and powers wayfinding for retailers, airports and large public spaces.
