Yes. Vubble's about page, checked September 24, 2026, says the company's origin story starts with Tessa Sproule and Katie MacGuire, who first worked together in public broadcasting. In an article published August 19, 2014, Media in Canada reported that Sproule was creating Vubble in partnership with fellow former CBC staffer Katie MacGuire.
