So I started my own law firm when I was 27 years old, in 2009, only focused on climate. I thought: we're in a climate crisis. I didn't really care about the financial crisis, I cared about the climate crisis.
I can boil it down to: we are in a climate crisis. They don't call it a crisis for fun. We wanted an unfair advantage to go as fast as we could to make an impact.
We have a real big opportunity right now to become the common language for how the capital markets think about climate risk and opportunity.
