In their words
In banking there's a lot of standards around your privacy, there's standards for cyber security. And then we see the Wild West of the ICO space. Our focus as a company is really to help bridge that gap between those two spaces.
We kind of focus on what we call compliance infrastructure. We're not trying to be the platform to do everything — we're trying to provide tools.
What Stripe did for payments, we've done that for the investor onboarding process.

Quick answers
What does iComply do?
It sells compliance infrastructure for digital finance — identity verification, know-your-customer and anti-money-laundering checks that platforms plug in rather than build. Unger describes them as low-cost base-layer tools, not an end-to-end platform.
Was iComply only for crypto?
No. Unger told TechVancouver in 2018 that clients already included mainstream financial-services firms using the same tools, and framed crypto as the first market rather than the whole one.
Where is iComply based?
Vancouver. Unger is its founder and CEO and has been published on fintech regulation in The Economist, Forbes and Finance Magnates.
