I think you're always selling, or you should be selling. I don't care what role you're in, career-wise. Be that you internally want to champion a cause or you're dealing with clients, you have to be out there selling.
The only piece of advice I would give you is that point, at least for me, never happens in a time that you want it. So be patient, sharpen your skills, work on your skills, and only good things will happen.
I've never had a perfect job, but I always looked at it as an opportunity to learn. You make the job and you make it perfect for the time that you're there, learn a lot of things, then open up other doors.

PayProp Canada was set up in June 2017 and Majic was appointed its president shortly after, according to Property4Media (July 21, 2017).

He was VP of sales engineering at VersaPay, and before that its VP of sales, as the 2018 SalesTO panel heard (10:35 and 11:19). The panel intro (1:27) also said he was earlier a partner in a payment-automation and cash-management software firm.
What does he look for in a sales engineer?
On the panel (42:42) he said the best reps he managed were natural sales engineers: they embraced technology and could explain its value to a finance person or a convenience-store clerk, which is how they became trusted advisors.
What is he doing now?
As of May 2, 2025, the IBAC Tech Trek podcast introduced him as chief revenue officer of SimplePin, which automates financial operations for insurance providers. That is the latest dated source found.
