Quick answers

What is Naysawn Naji known for?

Co-founding Wrapbook in 2018 with Ali Javid, Cameron Woodward and Hesham El-Nahhas. Wrapbook onboards, pays and coordinates cast and crew for production companies and raised a $100M Series B in 2021.

How did he find the Wrapbook idea?

By looking for a broken industry he knew nothing about, then interviewing people in it. He told TechTO he deliberately avoided scratching his own itch, because founders with software backgrounds all reach for the same problems.

Why is Wrapbook split across cities?

He told TechTO the founders planned to build in Montreal and nobody moved — one co-founder went to Toronto, the rest stayed in New York. He called it a lesson in not prematurely optimising the company.
