In a single location the payback period in our market is over 30 months, 40 months sometimes. That is way too long. When we went up market, we just saw a customer that has a payback period of two and a half months.
I quickly realized that we needed to rewrite the entire code to make the architecture capable of handling the multi-location type of customers. Without that we would be stitching solutions, and over time that would not be serving us.
I had some shareholders and others that were hoping I'd come do a quick fix and sell. There is an attraction to that. But that's not who I am — build a business that is sustainable for years and years to come.
