Ariel Gough and Edwina Govindsamy met in Halifax in 2015 through Govindsamy's mother and spent a couple of years looking for a business to build together before landing on fragrance. Neither had worked in the industry; they sampled for roughly 18 months before shipping. The products were vegan, cruelty-free, alcohol-free roll-on perfume oils formulated to avoid the irritants that scent bylaws target, sold direct online and through some Halifax and Dartmouth Sobeys locations. The debut Girl Power collection was named Brilliance, Resilience and Excellence. The most recent coverage found is from 2021 and the company's domain no longer resolves.
