About

The Centre for Compassionate Care — C3 — describes itself as a community-based specialty mental health and addictions clinic offering "person-focused, client-centred care that is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practices", under the tagline "Where Nature Nurtures". Its published programs are evaluation and assessment of complex mental health conditions, general psychotherapy, and an Integrative Ketamine-Enhanced Psychotherapy (IKEP) program, with other medication- and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapies offered to clients already in ongoing therapy with De Leo. The clinic takes part in Ontario's WSIB Community Mental Health Program for work-related psychological injuries. It operates from 430 York Boulevard in Hamilton. De Leo, a clinical and rehabilitation psychologist, founded and directs it; when he appeared on TechTO's health panel in May 2020 he was Director of Clinical Therapy at Field Trip Health, so the clinic itself has not been on the TechTO stage.
