About
Lindsay Moore learned guest service in the resort and wellness-tourism industry, where the job was to impress people you might see again next year, if ever. What she noticed there became the business: locals in the Niagara region were not being catered to the same way. She had been in the wellness industry roughly 30 years, and about 14 years before her December 2025 TechTO appearance she opened her own spa in the region as a sole entrepreneur — "we took that leap of faith. There was no net." Elite Spa Group now operates two locations, Sugar & Spice Elite Spa on Martindale Road in St. Catharines and AfterGlow Elite Spa on Victoria Avenue in Vineland, offering facials, massage, skincare and packages, with online booking at both. On the TechTO Commerce stage Moore was direct about how a brick-and-mortar business survives one of the most saturated markets there is: not treatments, but consistency — the same experience every visit — carried through to the digital side, which she called non-negotiable. She is an aesthetician by training and describes the ability to make someone feel good or bad about themselves as a responsibility rather than a service.
