About
The founders built a point-to-point delivery business in Tehran from 2015, modelled on the motorcycle couriers of Southeast Asia, before moving to Canada and launching FlashBox in 2021. Merchants upload delivery addresses to a web dashboard — manually or via integration — and FlashBox handles the last mile with drivers it onboards itself. It has expanded from the Greater Toronto Area to Vancouver.

Quick answers
What does FlashBox do?
Same-day parcel delivery for merchants. They upload addresses to a dashboard and FlashBox's own drivers deliver across the GTA and Vancouver.
Who founded FlashBox?
Mehdi Nayebi and Mehrshad Pezeshk, in Toronto in 2021, after running a similar last-mile business in Tehran from 2015.
Why does FlashBox employ its own drivers?
Nayebi has said subcontracting to third-party carriers loses control of delivery quality, so the company onboards drivers directly.
