About
Insurance broking runs on documents and inboxes: certificates of insurance, submissions, endorsements, renewal chases. Jump Point's argument is that the data brokers need is trapped inside those artefacts and inside agency management systems that were never built to release it, so the work stays manual no matter how much software a brokerage buys. Rather than replace those systems, it sits over them and runs configurable AI teammates against twelve workflow areas — intake, CRM, marketing, sales, underwriting, policy administration, claims and the rest — at three levels of autonomy the brokerage chooses: advisor, co-pilot and autopilot, each with an audit trail. The company positions the result as an autonomous-ready agency management system and claims efficiency gains of up to 80 percent. It completed a $250,000 pre-seed in March 2024, told Scout InsurTech it had converted a pilot with a national broker into $100,000 of annual recurring revenue, and was named a winner of InsurTech NY's 2025 startup competition, which carried a $100,000 in-kind prize. Co-founder and chief executive Jerry Chien built an insurtech at 19 and sold it to Aon before returning to insurance software; Yuri Kaplan is his co-founder.
