About
Kotn was founded in Toronto in 2015 by Rami Helali, Benjamin Sehl and Mackenzie Yeates to make high-quality, affordable basics from Egyptian cotton sourced directly from Nile Delta farmers. The company is a Certified B Corporation and directs proceeds toward building schools in its farming communities in Egypt. It has expanded steadily, opening its fifth Canadian store in Toronto's Leslieville in 2023 and continuing to grow its retail footprint across Canada and into the United States.
