About
Life Lapse started as a way for expectant mothers to shoot a week-by-week bump montage. Users took it somewhere else — small brands and creators used it to make product videos — and Boland, who came from film school and video marketing, rebuilt the app around that. She demoed it in the Demo of the Month slot on the TechVancouver stage in January 2018, less than a year after launch.
