About
Modaxo is not a startup but a holding structure: Constellation Software brought together transportation software businesses from across its Volaris Group — Trapeze Group, whose transit software dates back more than thirty years, plus dozens of sister companies — and launched them as Modaxo on 20 October 2020, focused solely on moving people. It said at launch that it comprised more than two dozen companies across 12 brands, about 2,000 staff and 35 offices in 21 countries, with Bill Delaney as chief executive. It has kept buying: in May 2024 it completed the acquisition of Conduent's curbside management and public safety businesses, which now operate as Trellint and Elovate.
Backers
A division of Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU), formed out of its Volaris Group.
