About
Sameer Dhar co-founded NiaHealth after Sensassure, his first company, was acquired by the hygiene group Essity. The pitch is that Canadian primary care is built to treat what has already gone wrong, and that a much wider blood panel read by a clinician catches trajectories decades earlier. Dhar told the TechTO room in August 2025 how the pivot from one business to the next actually worked. Reported funding is over $8M, with a large waitlist ahead of launch.
Backers
Venture-backed; the investor list is not published by the company.
