About
Pizza Hut Canada is the Canadian arm of Pizza Hut, the chain owned by Yum! Brands, with about 400 restaurants across eight provinces and a largely franchised base — Franchise Management Inc. is one of its bigger operators. In March 2018 it launched Hut Rewards, its first loyalty programme, which signed up 40,000 members in its first two weeks; the brand director who ran it, Jason Cassidy, said most Pizza Hut Canada sales were by then completed online. Cassidy took the MarketingTO stage in June 2018 with an argument about technology and creative work: that tools like Instagram, Adobe's Creative Suite and precise ad targeting had made creative output measurably better, that a few companies had opened genuinely new spaces for it, but that nothing had yet disrupted the creative industry the way Netflix disrupted cable or Amazon disrupted retail — and that when it came, it would cost jobs and still be worth it. He described building a 'creative impact score' at Cara Foods, indexing every Facebook ad out of 100 on recall, site clicks and engagement divided by impressions, and automating the reporting across ten brands. He left Pizza Hut Canada in July 2019 to become director of marketing at KFC Canada, also part of Yum! Brands.

Is this Pizza Hut Canada or Pizza Hut globally?
Pizza Hut Canada. How big is Pizza Hut in Canada?
About 400 restaurants across eight provinces as of 2017, mostly franchised, out of a global chain of roughly 20,000 owned by Yum! Brands.
What did Pizza Hut Canada say on the TechTO stage?
In June 2018 Jason Cassidy argued that technology has made creative work better and more measurable but has not yet disrupted the creative industry the way streaming disrupted cable — and that people, not tools, still make the ideas.
