About

A veterinarian's day ends with the notes. ScribbleVet records the appointment and produces the medical record from it — cutting the off-topic conversation, keeping the clinical content, and transferring the finished note into the practice information management system in one click. Around that it has added dental charts for COHAT documentation, client-facing discharge summaries it calls Care Cards, multi-lingual support, and an integration with the Plumb's drug monographs.

Rohan Relan founded it; the company's own line is "Type less. Heal more," and it says it is trusted by thousands of veterinarians. Institutional adoption followed — the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine is named as a partner, and UC Davis's veterinary school has adopted it for its facilities and students. Pricing runs from $40 per user per month to $150-$200 per veterinarian seat.

On 16 January 2026 Instinct Science announced it had acquired ScribbleVet. Terms were not disclosed; both products continue as they are for now, Relan takes a leadership role at Instinct running product strategy for its intelligence products, and ScribbleVet is to become the first AI scribe powered by Plumb's.

Luke Galea is ScribbleVet's chief technology officer. He was VP of engineering and then CTO at 7shifts, and it was for 7shifts that he took the TechTO talent stage in July 2021.
