Traction Guest was spun out of Traction on Demand, the Burnaby Salesforce consultancy, and sold visitor management to large enterprises with real physical-security requirements. Keith Metcalfe took the TechVancouver stage in June 2019 alongside Telus's Kim Logan for a two-sided conversation about enterprise-startup partnerships: what a large buyer is actually evaluating, and where those deals break down. In December 2021 the company was acquired into ShieldCo, a PSG-backed group that also held Sign In App; the product is now sold as Sign In Enterprise and tractionguest.com redirects there.
