About
Unito started as a Chrome extension that synced Asana and GitHub and stopped working when you closed the browser. Marc Boscher, then a product manager tired of chasing information across other teams' tools, built it as a personal fix and found its first users through the Chrome Store — which taught the company to use marketplaces as an acquisition channel, as he told the TechTO Firesides stage in Montreal in February 2023. It came out of Founder Institute Montreal and is now a two-way sync platform across 60-plus tools.
Backers
Bessemer Venture Partners' Jeremy Levine invested — Boscher named him on the TechTO stage — alongside Real Ventures, whose Gabriel Sundaram invested and later hosted the fireside. Round-by-round attribution is not confirmed from a primary source.
