Connor Atchison founded Wisedocs in 2019 after 12 years with the Canadian Armed Forces and Department of National Defence. The platform turns disorganised medical record files into indexed, summarized, searchable claim files; customers report first touch on complex claims 60-80% faster. It raised a US$4.1 million seed in 2022 and a C$12.7 million Series A in 2024 led by Information Venture Partners, plus C$4.5 million in growth capital from CIBC Innovation Banking. Jenna Earnshaw became CEO in June 2026 with Atchison moving to President.
