Who is Aanikh Kler?
A co-founder of Trufan. BetaKit reported in November 2021 that Swish Goswami co-founded Trufan at the age of 20 along with COO Aanikh Kler, and that the Toronto company was founded in 2017.
What did Trufan do?
BetaKit's November 2021 report described Trufan as a platform that helped brands and influencers find their top fans, with customers including the NBA, Netflix and Sony Music. BetaKit also covered its acquisitions of New York-based SocialRank in November 2019 and Kelowna-based PLAYR.gg in November 2020, and its Surf browser extension, which let people earn points for their browsing.
Is Trufan still operating?
Not under that name. Giant reported in June 2026 that the company rebranded as Surf the year after launching the extension in 2021. Surf's February 2025 release on Newswire said Datacy had acquired the Surf extension, its web data customers and user base, keeping Kler and Goswami as advisors, and that the sweepstakes platform was not part of the deal. As of September 13, 2026, trufan.io did not load.
What did Aanikh Kler do before Trufan?
The Ones Who Succeed podcast's July 2020 episode description says he appeared on CBC's Dragons' Den at 14 with UndrTheRadr, a ringtone app that donated part of each download to Free the Children, and that Plan Canada named him one of its 20 Under 20 in 2015.
