You can't just pay people for their data. It doesn't matter what kind of industry or sums we're talking about — your data individually isn't worth very much. But the aggregation of the data, the pooling of the data, is what's extremely powerful.
Nine, ten months ago we bit the bullet and said, okay, this has to be a closed-loop system. We have to do the investing of your money for you as well. And so we became a registered investment advisor in the U.S.
My last 18 months I've cycled through about 150 ideas, 15 experiments, five or six projects. And finally just now I've spun one out into a company, only because it started to finally earn revenue.
