Chris Chan co-founded Dwello, the Toronto platform that moved rent off paper cheques and onto automated bank payments. On the TechTO stage in 2016 he demoed the Dwello Score, a tenant-screening number built from bank-transaction data rather than a credit file. BetaKit named him Dwello's president in 2017.
