Quick answers
Did Daniel Racca co-found Horizon Blockchain Games, now Sequence?
Yes. Horizon's own team page (horizon.io/about, Wayback capture 2023-12-07) listed five co-founders with titles: Peter Kieltyka "Co-founder + CEO", Ian Ha "Co-founder + Head of Operations", William Hua "Co-founder + Chief Scientist", Daniel Racca "Co-founder + Head of Design" and Michael Sanders "Co-founder + Chief Storyteller". The same listing was still up in the 2024-12-03 capture. Metaverse Post (2023-06-21) names the same five founders.
What did Daniel Racca do at Horizon?
He was head of design. What happened to Sequence?
On 2026-01-13 BetaKit reported that Toronto-based Sequence "has been acquired by blockchain payments platform Polygon Labs", and The Logic (2026-01-14) reported Polygon Labs paid US$250 million for Sequence and Seattle's Coinme combined. BetaKit says the company was "Founded in 2017 as a blockchain gaming startup called Horizon". As of 2026-10-27, sequence.xyz still carries the banner "Polygon Labs is acquiring Sequence to power the Open Money Stack.", so this directory has not confirmed a closing date. Whether Racca moved to Polygon Labs is not confirmed.
