Who is Daniele Perito?
He is one of the four co-founders of Faire, the wholesale marketplace for independent retailers. Faire's About page lists him today among its board members as "Co-founder, Faire and depthfirst." When he spoke at Scale's TransformX conference in October 2022, Scale listed him as Faire's co-founder and chief data officer.
What did he do before Faire?

When did he step back from running Faire's data team?
In a note Faire published on March 31, 2023, Perito wrote that beginning that May he would move from day-to-day work as chief data officer into a role as board member and advisor. He said the decision had been a year in the making, and that Chen Peng was leading the data organization.

An AI security company Perito co-founded. TechCrunch reported on January 14, 2026 that depthfirst had announced a $40 million Series A, naming Perito as one of its co-founders.
