On September 1, 2021. BetaKit reported in August 2021 that he would take over from his brother Mike, who became executive chair, and that chief strategy officer Julieann Esper Rainville would take over his role as president.
Why did the Wessinger brothers start PointClickCare?
Because of their mother's work in senior care, he told Skilled Nursing News in November 2022; through her they met care providers and IT companies. In an October 2025 Heidrick & Struggles podcast he said he was raising young children and commuting 90 minutes to Toronto when he and Mike started it.
What was his role before he became CEO?
He told Heidrick & Struggles in October 2025 that while Mike was CEO he supported him as his right hand. BetaKit's August 2021 report says he was president before taking the CEO job.
