What happened to Akira?
Akira, the Toronto virtual-care app he co-founded in 2015 with Taha Bandukwala and Matt Zukowski, was acquired by Right Health in 2017 and then by TELUS Health in 2019 on undisclosed terms. The brand was absorbed into TELUS Health Virtual Care.
