He worked on the quantitative research team at Citadel in New York and Chicago, on systematic equity strategies. He told the TechTO audience he grew up in Vancouver and studied computer science at UBC.

That government data is hard to analyse not because the problem is difficult but because nobody built the plumbing: Wall Street spent decades standardising its data, and public institutions never did.
