Who is Harald Will?
A co-founder of ACL Services, the Vancouver audit analytics software company that became Galvanize. BetaKit reported in September 2021 that the company was founded in 1987 by Hartmut Will and his son Harald Will out of the University of British Columbia, and Techcouver's February 2021 report named Harald and Hart Will as its founders. No current title is published here because none could be verified from a first-party source.
What was Harald Will's role at ACL?
He ran the company for more than two decades. The Globe and Mail reported in December 2017 that he launched ACL in 1987 to commercialize audit software his father had built at UBC. BCBusiness reported in October 2019 that Laurie Schultz was invited to become CEO in 2011 by then-chief executive Harald Will, and The Globe and Mail described him as executive chairman in February 2021.
What happened to ACL Services?
The Globe and Mail reported in May 2019 that ACL was changing its name to Galvanize. In February 2021 it reported that Diligent was buying Galvanize for US$1 billion, and Diligent announced on April 7, 2021 that it had completed the acquisition.
