What did Jason Billingsley do at Elastic Path?

That Elastic Path press release (2008-10-21) names him VP of Innovation and says the founders first ran a consulting organization providing e-commerce services before pivoting to product development. MarketingSherpa interviewed him as "Vice President for Innovation, Elastic Path Software" on 2008-08-27 about using blogs in marketing.
