Who is Jessica Ching?
Co-founder and CEO of Eve Medical, the Toronto company behind HerSwab. She is an industrial designer trained at OCAD University with a McGill degree in international development, and worked in product development at Herman Miller, Umbra and Telus before starting the company with Evan Moses.
What is HerSwab?
A self-sampling device that lets a woman collect her own sample for HPV, cervical cancer and STI screening, at home or in a clinic, rather than undergoing a clinician-performed exam. It is designed for the patient rather than adapted from a clinical instrument.
