Manuel Hilty co-founded Nezasa in Zurich in 2013 and runs it as CEO. Its software lets tour operators and travel agents plan, price and book multi-stop trips in a single transaction. He came from software engineering and consulting, and told a TravelTechTO panel in August 2019 that an itinerary should stay changeable for the length of the trip.

We want to create itineraries that are actually alive until you stop traveling, and that you don't have to book once and then they're static for the rest of the time.

What has really changed in the last five years is that a lot of product has actually become live bookable. Five years ago it was very difficult to book anything other than maybe a hotel and the flight in real time.
