Quick answers
Who is Mike Wood?
Co-founder and CEO of MintList, a Vancouver used-car marketplace founded in 2020. He spent his career in dealerships, including 11 years running his own.
How did MintList's founders meet?
At a car rally in the summer of 2019, through mutual friends. They met again that Christmas, when Wood asked Mehrsa Raeiszadeh to read the business plan he had written three years earlier.
What does MintList do?
It reverses the used-car process: a consumer lists a vehicle and dealers bid on it, which also lets buyers apply a trade-in against sales tax.
