Quick answers

Did Nabeel Mushtaq co-found AskforTask?

Yes. BetaKit reported on 2014-03-04 that AskforTask was cofounded by brothers Muneeb and Nabeel Mushtaq, then 23 and 20, and that Nabeel was a Seneca@York computer systems technology student. Global News (2014-05-02) and blogTO (2014-05-12) also name both brothers as founders.

How did AskforTask start?

The Globe and Mail reported on 2013-07-08 that the brothers launched a proof-of-concept site in 2012 after their mother struggled to get a leaky kitchen faucet fixed, and raised about $100,000 from family and friends. Global News dated the national launch to May 2013.

What was his title?

No news report gives him one. A 2015 IdeaMensch interview introduces him as COO and co-founder, in a bio that was probably supplied by him; this page uses co-founder, which every source agrees on.

What does he do now?

Not established. A 2020 Daily Times staff report quotes him as co-founder and chief product officer of Airzai, his brother's fragrance technology company, but Airzai's own about page, checked in October 2026, names only Muneeb.
