In their words
My advice to everyone is just have a really smart brother, if you can manage that somehow. I can't take credit for the genesis of PocketHealth.
It's a game of bottom-up sales. I love bottom-up sales. I think people go top down because they're lazy. I always want to sell to where the pain is greatest, because that's the person who cares the most.
We were bootstrapped and cashflow positive for the first four years of our business before we raised our seed round.
No transparency, no visibility. You are not the customer — you move at the pace of the system.
We're actually taking all of this free text from these 800 different hospitals that are sending 40 million images and reports to PocketHealth every single month.
We saw the wave — everyone saw it — but we felt this was the most important thing, because it got us to product-market fit and it got us to loving our jobs.
