In their words

I graduated in 2005 with my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in sculpture, and I was like, alright, real world, here we go. I had no idea how to make money. Adulthood sucks when you wasted your youth.

Don't wait to build your audience until after you have a product ready to sell. Start early, share your story, people want to hear it. It's actually interesting even though you don't think you're interesting.
