Saba Mohebpour is founder and CEO of Spocket, a Vancouver dropshipping marketplace that connects online retailers to suppliers in North America and Europe so they can sell without holding inventory. He moved to Canada from Iran in 2012 to study pre-med at UBC, shut down a first startup for want of $400 a month in server costs, and built Spocket next.

I emigrated to Canada in September 2012 to study pre-med at UBC. It was my dream to study medicine since I was seven years old. I graduated in 2015, and in my last year I knew that I cannot go to med school — the reason, I was an international student.
