At the May 2018 HealthTO cannabis edition he told the story of his father, then 74 and diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, working through cortisone shots and pharmaceutical treatments — and reacting to the suggestion of cannabis by asking whether his son was trying to get him arrested.

Is Happy Belly the same company as Cannvas MedTech?
The same listed entity, not the same business. Cannvas MedTech changed its name to EuroLife Brands in August 2019 — Moniz was still CEO in November 2020, when EuroLife announced its change to Plant & Co. Brands and described Cannvas.Me as part of its technology division — and the shell became Happy Belly Food Group in September 2022. The food business it runs today is unrelated to cannabis education.
