About

Happy Belly acquires emerging Canadian food brands and scales them through franchising, across a quick-service restaurant division — brands including Heal Wellness, Via Cibo, Rosie's Burgers, Yolks Breakfast, JoeyTurks Island Grill and Lettuce Love Cafe — and a consumer packaged goods division holding Holy Crap and Lumber Heads. Fiscal 2025 was its largest year: $63.1M of system-wide QSR sales, up 108%, on 77 operating restaurants against 43 the year before. It reported 87 operating restaurants and a franchise pipeline of more than 680 by the end of Q1 2026.

The listed entity has an unusual history in this archive. It is the same issuer that took the TechTO stage in May 2018 as Cannvas MedTech, a cannabis education company, with Shawn Moniz as chief executive. Cannvas MedTech became EuroLife Brands in August 2019, Plant & Co. Brands in December 2020 and Happy Belly Food Group in September 2022, moving from cannabis education into plant-based food and then food-brand consolidation. Moniz stayed with it: still CEO of EuroLife in November 2020, CEO of Happy Belly until August 2024, and president and interim CFO since December 2025.
