So what is our mission? Our mission quite simply is to create what we call bioprinted tissue therapeutics — we implant these living tissues inside of the body to replace damaged function that is lost due to disease.
Make sure you're working with a group that you're willing to go to battle with — you're going to go through a tremendous amount of turmoil and challenges, and it's the co-founding team that needs to be that stable constant.
Everybody likes to think that culture is just a bullet point of values, but really culture is your first 10 or 20 or 30 people that you bring on.
